Rhus-r | Anacardiaceae |
Toxicodendron pubescens var. radicans, Rhus toxicodendron radicans
Counted as one species by some botanists with T.diversiloba and T.quercifolium (= Rhus tox.), but seems to have different medical use. Since these species are botanically difficult to distinguish, there is the possibility that the tree proved as Rhus-t was really Rhus radicans, which is much more common. (G. Madaus, S.2318) Hahnemann see both species as one. Rhus toxicodendron quercifolium is a bush, whereas Rhus tox. radicans - or as a specias of its own: Rhus radicans - is a climbing vine. |
