Plantae -> Magnoliophyta -> Liliopsida / Monocotyledonae -> Liliidae -> Liliales -> Xanthorrhoeaceae -> Aloe ferox
SubstanCe | Abbreviation | Systematics |
Aloe ferox Common Aloe |
Aloe | Xanthorrhoeaceae |
given as syn. with Aloe socotrina or Aloe soccotrina by Gudjons and Remedia and in homeopathic literature, which they are certainly not.
|
||
The synonyms of the different Aloe species are given very differently and are difficult to see through. So Aloe soccotrina and Aloe vera have common synonyms, but are obviously different species. This means that the synonyms always have to be named and considered for the year and author. |
